How the system works

The combination of high-resolution high-speed cameras, flexible illumination and 3D sensors allows a wide range of defects to be detected reliably. Adaptive image processing algorithms derive features from the images and weight and classify them automatically on the spot. Learning methods allow the algorithms to be adapted to changes and to new types of fault, so that the best possible detection rate is maintained. This is where machine learning comes in.
